And these are, of course, my true favorites.
Caitlin and I in our natural habitat.
Here are some of my favorites of the pictures my beautiful friend Kolby took of me! Somehow she was actually able to capture me not looking like a total goofball.
The first two are film and the rest are digital.
Every time I get on tumblr, all I can think to do is post Bob Dylan or Radiohead lyrics. And then think better because I don’t want to sound like a trite 20-something-year-old someone who has had you on her mind.
Quran; Verse 45:24
So years from now
I think I’ll have been a lot of places
And I will have made a lot of people smile
These people will go on to tell all of their friends
About a girl who made them smile
But they won’t remember her name
Though you, you will remember my name
I could never let you forget to remember my name
And you’ll remember that I made you smile
and that I made you cry
and yell, and sit alone for hours
and not sleep, or eat, and that I made you like me
But you won’t remember how
You won’t remember all the things I shared with you
Or how scared I was to let you know me
How I sat on the phone with you for hours in New York City
And you said that I broke your heart
and all I could do was blow my nails dry
But you definitely won’t even consider how much I remember you
Or realize how much you helped me
And how right now, I am sitting alone thinking about you
As I do quite frequently
You have no idea.
This is not even really a poem that I wrote, that doesn’t even rhyme
And I’d like to end it with a haiku:
Not every poem rhymes
Not everyone falls in love
I can’t do either
